Don't forget to fill your carrier bag with the items you would take if we had to be evacuated in 2012.
Remember there will not be any electricity where we are (pretending) to go.
Remember there will not be any electricity where we are (pretending) to go.
Make sure you write a list so we know what is inside your bag and be prepared to talk about why you are taking those items.
I'm really interested to find out what you'd take in your carrier bags. I think the dilemma I would have is whether I'd let my heart rule my had. For example, would it be best to have photos/objects to remember your family by or would it be best to have practical things that would help you survive?

Hello Year 4,
ReplyDeleteWhat a challenge! You can only take what will fit in the carry bag? This would mean getting down to the very essentials to make life a little more comfortable.
I can see by comments already listed there are some good ideas. With no electricity, and batteries not lasting all that long, most electrical equipment would waste space.
I can understand the wish to take a teddy. If you were being evacuated, much might seem confusing and scary so a teddy would bring comfort.
Good thinking everyone.
