Welcome to Year 4 posters

This afternoon during circle time we talked about what life is like in Year 4. After this discussion the children started to make a poster for the soon to be Year 4 pupils. The Year 3 children's names were cut up and drawn randomly, Year 4 then knew who the audience was and to make it personal to that individual.

Here are some examples of our finished welcome posters

I really enjoyed circle time and the examples you gave of life in Year 4. Can you write what they are in the comment box for everyone to see?

  1. My year 4 class wrote to year 3s too! They said that I like children to sit up straight, use neat handwriting and to keep me happy they have to behave! It has been funny to read what they have to say about me!
Enjoy your last few weeks :)

    1. I am looking forward to having the wonderful Year 3 in my class. Mrs Quinn told me you are a talented group of children and she wishes she could teach you again.

I can promise you we will have fun when you move up in two weeks time.

  5. Hello Year 4,

Your Year 4 posters to help Year 3 are not only a good idea, they look wonderful. Giving advice to others soon to embark on the Year 4 journey you are now ending is a great way to help them feel confident of what lies ahead in the new school year.

I hope you all enjoy the upcoming holiday break and return ready for Year 5. :)
