In assembly this morning, we listened to Mrs Longhawn tell us all about Remembrance Day. She told us it was a special day to remember the men and women who were killed during the two world wars and other conflicts. We found out about the signing of the Armistice on the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month.
We observed two minute silence.
Back in class we wrote a postcard. These would be delivered to the British Legion and then sent to Service personnel, bereaved Armed Forces families and veterans of all ages.
