Mr Booth came to see us

Several weeks ago in Literacy time, Year 4 wrote letters inviting Mr Booth, an Estate Agent from Garforth, into class to tell us about his job.
As part of our theme, Year 4 will be creating brochures to sell houses. We thought the best way to find out how to do this would be to ask someone who does it everyday.

So, after Mrs Warner sent the letters, Mr Booth organised his visit and on Monday afternoon we found out the answers to all our questions.

I would like Year 4 to write in the comment box one of the questions we asked and the answer Mr Booth gave.

  1. Hello Year 4,

I have often heard it said the biggest purchase anyone is likely to make in their life is a home. Few can afford to pay cash so it is a commitment to pay off a loan regularly.

What an interesting topic to study. Making your own brochures will give you a better idea how housing advertisements are made. I hope we get to see some of the brochures. :)
