Levelling up


During the V.C.O.P session the children improved boring sentences. After choosing two random objects they had to write a sentence and using the pyramid, try to improve it.

I am really pleased with all your work this morning, you created some brilliant sentences with "ly or ly-ing" openers. 
A special mention to Keaton and Olivia.

    Dear Mrs Warner,
    What is VCOP?
    I have printed the pyramid with the intention of using it next week in literacy after showing your blog post. Please tell me what the CL means under punctuation? Are there more pyramids?

      Hi Mrs Davey,

      Since September, every class has been working to improve literacy and BIG WRITING is certainly helping us to do this.

      VCOP stands for vocabulary, connectives, openers and punctuation.
      CL means capital letters.

      If you do a google search for BIG WRITING you will find more information.

    I loved doing it because it was fun thinking of the sentancys I thoght I did brilliant and well done to every one else you all did good keep up the good work.
