A very special visitor

Today Mr Wisnia came to see us and talk about the Jewish beliefs and customs. It was fascinating listening to information about the Jewish faith and his own family experiences of WWII.

Our Friday surprise

This morning Y4 waited eagerly to find out what the surprise was on the visual timetable.
At 9.15am Mr Wisnia, our former Headteacher, came into class to talk about the Jewish faith.

Since reading The Lion and the Unicorn, the children were keen to learn more about Lenny's life. In the story Lenny felt left out because he didn't join in with the same things as the other children.

Today Y4 found out about some of the customs and festivals celebrated by Jewish people.
