This week we listened to Maryam give a PowerPoint presentation about Space.

She told us some very interesting facts about the planets in the Solar System. Can you name them?

Big write "edit and improve" session

Every Monday in Year 4 we always recap on the Big Write task. We use this time to edit and improve our work. This week the children had to write a letter to Mr Edensor to persuade him to abandon the school uniform.
In pairs the children had a go at peer assessing work using VCOP colours.
Here they are busy at work.

Amber

Amber is the Star writer because she has written a brilliant persuasive letter to Mr Edensor suggesting he abandons the school uniform. She organised her writing very well, including letter writing features, emotive language and backed up her opinion.
