Talk homework

I would like you to share the story of Lenny Levi with your family.
Tell them about Lenny and what happened to him.
Where did Lenny go and what did he do?
How did he feel and what happened at the end of the story?

When was the last time you said something kind?

Here is our "Say something kind" board. Children in Year 4 give their classmates, including adults, push-ups. Push-ups are a great way of spreading a smile and letting the person know you have noticed their excellent behaviour.

Why not spread a smile today and say something kind.

Presentation Monday

What a treat Presentation Monday was, not only did Y4 learn about "Wolves" but they also received gifts.
It started with Ayisha and Jessica sharing their amazing display of facts, art work and books and continued as a question and answer session.

What did you like about the presentation?
Do you have any questions you would like answering?

The blob tree

During our circle time on Thursday we looked at a picture of blobs on and near a tree. The children looked very carefully and had to identify one blob that best represented them.
We talked about what the blobs in the tree looked like? Did they represent emotions and feelings?

Today is Saturday, would you pick the same blob you chose on Thursday? Please explain.

Maths workshop

Reading the numbers on scales, rulers and cyclinders can be quite confusing.

Have a look at the photographs. What did you find hard? Can you read the temperature shown in the slide show.

Here is a game to try

Try this quiz and let me know how you get on.
