Using the shapes drawn by Anthony, Year 4 used their imagination and created very unique pieces of art
Here are the finished shapes
Now Year 4 play with each other. Take the pen on a journey and draw an abstract image, swap with your partner and make the shape come to life.
The shape game looks like a fun way to learn, i may have a go myself.You have created some interesting pieces of art work. mrs Jarvis x

The shap is realy good becouse i played it at home and i trid it wich my dad and he made it in to a see monster.by DAVEY
ReplyDeleteThe shape game was fun but also hard I thought at first that I could not do any thing whith the shape that I got given but I put my thinking cap on and a light bulb swiched on in my head.
ReplyDeleteMine looks like a CRAZY hedgehog! but i liked Alexes rain deer.it dident take much thinking for me to come up with my crazy purple dancing santa hat hadgehog to be made.

ReplyDeleteYesterday was really fun I enjoyed it,I like playing the shape game,when I got given the shape I got two idea's in my head I was going to do a magnet that had rotted away but instead I desided to do a book worm.

ReplyDeleteIt was so fun doing the shape game I did a man thats all disy in his head hes called dizo and I liked the one when we had to get with a patener and our patener had to draw a shape and u had to turn it into somthing my patener drew a shape like a star and i put a face on it with dots on its face too thats the one that looks like Elvis Mrwalls. At the end of the day Mrswarner gave us some fun homework we had to turn her shape that she drew into somthing I was going to turn it into some cheese but that was too easy so I turned it into a Dove.

ReplyDeleteYour creations are stunning. I can remember a game like this when I was a boy except we called it Squiggles. One person would draw some sort of jumbled drawing we called squiggles. The next person had to see what they could turn the squiggle into. In the shape game, you start with a shape and see what you can create. I can only conclude you all have wonderful imaginations. Well done!
