Learning any language can be very difficult, but learning a new language can be even harder. This afternoon Y4 made games to help others learn some common french words.
In teams they devised a game and will play them next week.

The la means the for a male
And ley means a thing eg and animal etc
I know exactly what Mrs Warner means about learning a second language. I think designing and making your own game to help with French vocabulary is a great idea. I hope you enjoy playing them next week.

Unfortunately for me, my skill in the French language is poor and I often need help reading French. When spoken, I might only understand about one or two words in ten. Having the same opportunity as you to learn in primary school, I might have been much more fluent. Keep learning. :)

ReplyDeleteMe and my partner put answer cards in so when you land on a answer space you collect a answer card and on most of the cards is how to guess a french word.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed doing the french games it was great. my game was cold frenchoply you had to guess the words to get to the next one i worked with jamie, and chloe we worked as a team.
