    1. I made a promise I would finish it ready for you all to see tomorrow. You're lucky, you have a sneaky peek Kelis.
I love the letters home, you all did a good job making them look over 70 years old. The Blitz pictures look great too, the colour choices really give an impression of fires blazing and explosions.

    1. If you look closely, you will see Ela's Great Great Grandad served on HMS Rupulse and gave protection to the Prince of Wales, who later became Edward VIII.

I feel honoured that Ela's Grandad has allowed us to display these in class, they will be very precious to Ela's family.

  3. When I saw this beautiful work I just had to write a short note to say well done on some really interesting and informative work. What a lovely collection of artefacts you have. I love the art work you have done on the Blitz - lots of atmosphere! The letters home from Lenny also look great - I would love to read them too. You have aged them beautifully - they look just like the real thing!
When I am at school tomorrow I will show some of my year 4 children your blog. I am sure they will be very impressed.
    Keep up the great work.
